Trade in Your Books for Store Credit
Â
Bring used books to our retail store and trade them for store credit. Â The books must be clean and in good saleable condition. Â We give half of what we think we can sell a book for in store credit. Â We print out a credit slip, there is no expiry date and you don't have to use all your store credit at the same time. Â You can use store credit at your leisure and you are welcome to share your store credit with family and friends if you want to. Â
Â
There are some rules about how store credit is used in our shop.  You can use your store credit for half of the purchase price of any used book within our shop (other than special orders).
Â
e.g. If you had $1000 store credit and you wanted to buy one $8 used book. You pay $4 in cash/eftpos/visa/mastercard and the other $4 comes off your $1000 store credit leaving you with $996 store credit remaining. Â We take some money for every book, that's how we pay our bills and stay in business.
Â
You cannot use store credit to purchase new books or new products or special order books. Â They are the marked price only.
Â
Trading books is very popular within our store, many of our customers happily trade with us and you will get the hang of it pretty quickly. Â We think it is a good deal for our customers and a good deal for us. Â So give it a try.
Â
There are some books we don't take in trade even if they are in excellent condition because we just can't sell them. We don't take sets of encyclopedia or reader's digest condensed stories. Â We don't take magazines unless they are on particular subjects. Â Ask us if you are unsure.
