Racine, WI Golden Books 1971 2nd Printing Hardcover Good with no dust jacket; Children's Book. Spine ends and corners of book have some bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Top spine end has been heavily bumped and has two edge tears with some associated wrinkles, chips & about 1/2 inch worth of paper cover missing. (Top edge tear has been carefully and very minimally repaired). A small bump to bottom spine end is also present with a small edge tear. Other corners are in great shape. Text pages clean & bright. Overall, book is actually in very good condition, but the spine end bumping is quite noticeable. This is one of the first books by -Jolly- Roger Bradfield. --Timothy Wicks was a boy with a wonderful imagination. He could shut his eyes and imagine a Pink Giraffe wearing three neckties and roller skates, and when he opened his eyes-there would be the giraffe. Really. A real Pink Giraffe wearing three neckties and roller skates standing right there in the living room (or wherever Timothy happened to be at the moment)--. ; S. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Sturdy reinforced library binding--Putnam Guaranteed binding--(but not ex library copy) . Cloth covered boards with some ground-in dirt, a couple of light scribbles that have mostly been erased and a couple of small spots of discoloration to rear cover. This is NOT an exlibrary copy. Bottom spine end of book cover has a very small edge tear and some beginning fraying. Text pages clean & bright. Overall, a very good- copy. -Mahatma worked for a lumber company in India, not far from where he was born. Being an elephant, he could do the work of many men and was therefore needed on the job--.; S.
