There is beginning tear to front spine right in the dip of the hinge. Bottom spine end has some light, but noticeable bumping & rubbing. Text pages clean & bright. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. There are several very small edge tears to dust jacket. Shadow of grease pencil mark on front cover by title. Top rear corner of dust jacket has a tiny chip missing. There is a smallish black star which is printed on the bottom rear corner of the book cover (not embossed & is not a remainder mark) and a corresponding star inked onto the dust jacket--These appear not to be remainder marks & one theory is that they are marked so by the publisher as items which could not be returned for credit.
